How We Create Personalized Treatment Plans for Every Patient

Your plan is shaped around what you want to return to, whether that is work, sport, gardening, driving, gym activity, or simply moving with more confidence.

3. Step-by-Step Progression

We gradually progress exercises, mobility work, balance training, and strengthening based on how your body responds.

4. Home Exercise Guidance

You receive exercises that are realistic, manageable, and connected to your recovery goals.

Physiotherapy in Camrose helping a patient improve mobility, strength, and recovery through personalized treatment

What to Expect During Your Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment

  • A full discussion of your health history, current symptoms, and personal goals
  • Physical examination, including range of motion, strength, neurological, and functional testing
  • Identification of contributing factors, not just the primary complaint
  • Explanation of findings in plain language
  • Development of a personalized treatment plan with clear goals and expected timelines

The number of sessions depends on the nature and severity of your condition, how long it has been present, and your goals. Acute injuries may resolve in a handful of sessions. Chronic or complex conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological recovery typically require longer programs. Your physiotherapist will give you a realistic projection at your initial assessment and adjust your plan as you progress.

In Alberta, you do not need a physician's referral to access physiotherapy. You can book directly with Central Physiotherapy & Massage Clinic. Note that some of the insurance plans do require a referral for the reimbursement, so it is worth confirming with your provider before your first visit.

Myranda

I have been seeing Hiya for my physio since a fall and a car accident. She is lovely and goes above and beyond for her clients, you can truly see she is passionate about her work. The front desk girls are all wonderful too! Always so nice, and remember you by name, greetings everyone as they come in the door. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience.

Michael Brown

I tore bicep tendon in my left arm in July and have been going to Camrose physio since August/2025 through Jan/2026 twice a week. From the welcoming greeting each and every time from Ray at the front desk to the exceptional care and rehab from Ryan Thank you. If you need assistance with recovery at all I would 110% recommend Ryan and his team Thanks again

Wyatt Kinna

Highly recommend central physio and all its staff as a whole. Adarsh Shah is the one directly helping me but I have had a couple visits with other physiotherapist who are also wonderful. With the amount of foot traffic they have going on it is evident I should have been attending this place from the get go.

Joshua Duncan

Zoey has been an amazing physio and got me back on my feet and playing hockey again. Amanda provides excellent massage to keep me lifting heavy in the gym without pain. Dr.Weeks provided excellent chiropractic services and ordered an ultrasound to expedite the diagnosis of my ankle injury. Great staff from the front desk to every provider.
